Is there a specific time I have to buy tickets on American Airlines to take advantage of the discount?

Nope!  

My child is under two?  Do I gotta pay full price? (special thanks to Tamara)

American Airlines doesn't charge for a seat for kids under 2 - only taxes.

AIRFARE

We now have a wedding discount code for travel on American Airlines. The discount is for 5% off the base fare for travel dates to/from Barbados 10/2/11 - 10/16/11. It is not applied to taxes and fees.  When booking on AA.com, the $25 booking fee will be waived as well. Or you can call the 1-800 service number. The discount code also applies to Avis Rent-A-Car as well, though I'm not exactly sure what the discount is with Avis.*

HOTELS

See the Hotel and Accommodation tabs in the menu bar above for suggested rooms. We've tried to keep the options to a limited number so that booking a place to stay would not be difficult and everyone would be close together. We are focusing on two places next to each other: Magic Isle Apartments and Accra Beach Hotel. There are other accommodations close by of varying costs. Please contact us if you are unsure of where to stay and would like any suggestions and advice. 

There are new cheaper rates for the Accra Beach Hotel and the rates now include complimentary breakfast!!  (Thanks Rachael for passing this along!

The rates quoted are nightly, based on single or double occupancy, includes

*Renting a car is not necessary in Barbados, except if you are interested in driving around the island sight seeing. Rockley Beach is a 15 minute cab ride from the airport, appx. $20-25. There are plenty of cabs available on the island. The hotels, restaurants and bars are all a short stroll away from each other on the beach. And the wedding will be right on the beach!
