Today. The ERSC is refounded as the ERQC. Members: 1

Yesterday, I wasn't totally happy with the name EAST RIVER SKATE CLUB.  But I like to grab my impetuosity when it takes over me so I went with it.  Blog is born.  First entry is written.  And away we go.  

So today, while skating, I realized the better name is EAST RIVER QUAD CLUB.  ERQC is much more fulfilling acronym.  And will look amazing on T-Shirts and scrawled on bathroom walls in NYC dive bars.  A girl can dream...

Also - I didn't feel that great about stealing thunder from the original ERSC or the ELK RIVER SPORTSMEN CLUB. (http://ersportsman.com/)   Clearly, they have guns and might step up to defend their territory. 

Besides, EAST RIVER QUAD CLUB has such a delicious ring to it.  ERQC.  That's an acronym of which I can be proud.  And I love that fucking Q in there.  A good friend of mine has taught me to love a Q. 

The only thing ERQC stands for is "Endoplasmic Reticulum Quality Control."  And I have no idea what that even means.

As I was writing this, Firefox crashed 3 times and most of the 3 previous blog posts were lost to the ethosphere.  So, I will find a better blogging platform because using Squarespace has been a real pain in my ass.
